I’m Madison, I’m an LA-based Senior Manager, Paid Media Marketing at Warner Music Group, where I currently oversee all advertising for our iconic catalog. Just like Devo, I was born in Akron, Ohio. Unlike Devo, I am not a really cool new wave band from the 70s and I mostly do work on my computer for a living, but I am good at said work.

From my first concert (The Wiggles) to my first job (the local record store) to now, music is how I find comfort and community. I think that’s the case for a ton of people. Even though music is something you can’t technically see or touch, picking up a new album or going to a show with your friends are very tangible experiences, and I genuinely love being a tiny part of making those moments possible for others. Even you, Kevin (he always came into the record store five minutes before close and wanted to look through every bin).

  • Oversee all WMG catalog digital advertising campaigns across social media, working across internal partners to develop streaming and physical sales campaign strategies, facilitating execution with external agencies. Negotiate traditional media buys across cable, CTV, and print media vendors. 

  • Created and executed an evergreen digital campaign to increase vinyl and CD sales on Rhino and Grateful Dead stores, resulting in 846% and 1,175% ROAS respectively. 

  • Book national OOH campaigns including billboards, snipes, projections, and transit for WMG’s iconic catalog artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Slipknot, and Talking Heads.

  • Manage influencer campaigns across IG Reels and TikTok to encourage UGC of WMG catalog tracks and increase streams, maintaining an average 8% engagement rate. 

  • Engage artist management and WMG frontline digital teams for approvals of paid media strategy on official artist channels.
